There really should be no controversy over this. Rear facing until the car seat height and/or weight limit is maximized is the safest. 🫶🏻 I didn’t know this with our first and forward faced him shortly after his first birthday. Oliver is not uncomfortable, he doesn’t fight us getting in his seat, and he still meets car seat requirements.
