Meet the central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps). This reptile is found either on the fringes of an outback road or while scavenging for insects in the semi-arid regions of eastern Australia. In order to ward off potential predators these dragons use intimidation tactics, rather than aggression – they make themselves look bigger and spikier than they really are.
