Best Hummingbird Attracting Plants Series: Video #2 features Black and Blue Salvia (Salvia guaranitica), which is by far my favorite plant for attracting hummingbirds. It blooms throughout the summer until frost (zones 8-10) considered an annual. It might be labeled differently depending on where you purchase it, but look for the large purple/blue/magenta flowers on black stems. Seems to do best in a large flower pot. This plant not native to North America. It's always a good idea to check with
