Tickets. You need a free two-hour timed ticket to visit the Galleries and Commemorative Area. A separate ticket is required to attend the daily Last Post Ceremony held in the Commemorative Area from 4 pm. These include photographic negatives, archival material, printed items, objects, magnetic audio-visual tapes and narrow gauge film. Researchers are required to request an appointment four weeks in advance to facilitate collection retrieval and delivery. Monday – Friday: 10 am – 12.45 pm, 1.45 pm – 4.30 pm. Saturday: 1 pm – 4.30 pm. The Research Centre is closed on Sunday and ACT Public Holidays. (link is external) Book an appointment.
