2022年6月9日 · Most fighting types lean towards being frail, especially on the special side which every mon you listed as sound type is stronger in, and not resisting sound-moves means it’ll be hard for them to switch in. Especially so with meloetta, chatot, wigglytuff, chimecho, mismagius and noivern carrying a secondary type that fighting doesn’t like.

2021年6月4日 · The reason sound has resistance to dark types is because darkness can't affect sound thinking abt it now I think it makes more sense if rather than Sound having resistance to Dark, sound type moves are powered up at night cuz at night everything is 10x louder lol.

Like happened with fairy in 6th gen, some older pokemon became sound type. Some of the obvious ones were Chatot (sound flying), Exploud (sound) and Kricketune (Bug Sound), but others less obvious were Latios and Latias (sound dragon, because of their speed) and Flygon (sound ground, by flapping his wings he can create melodies) and more.

2016年12月15日 · All moves are Physical, Special, or Status, but then moves can also be biting moves, general contact moves, and sound-based moves, and Pokemon abilities are being made to function with that. If you ask me, this is a lot more innovative to the game than just taking that all away to make it into a type.
Unpopular Opinion: The "Sound Type" shouldn't be added.
To justify adding the Sound Type, they would need to add a bunch of new Sound Type Pokemon. Even moreso than they added with the Fairy Type. Which brings me to my next point. The Sound Type has very limited potential. I mean really, what all could they do with it? They could make a speaker, but I'm pretty sure that's what Exploud is already.
