Jan 17, 2019 · Start by building the hard core of your gang/cult. Create the protagonist in detail, thinking of their abilities, looking for sinergies, buying them the cool stuff (at least some of it) from the start. Then spend the rest of your credits in the supporting cast. It is ok to start a Cult with a leader, 2 disciple, a witch and 4 cultist.

That said, I played choas cult recently for a short campaign and had a great time with them. Tzeench is certainly powerful, but sticking to one god and winning a lot scuppers your chances of getting a spawn (so much fun). With the cheap gangers, you really don’t need to play the overwatch game either.

Jul 13, 2023 · As long as your group allows the book of the outcast psychic abilities the witch can be very interesting. Chaos familiars are absolutely incredible. Talk with your group before playing with too many because they can be game-breaking. Once you manage to fail some rituals horribly so you have a couple chaos spawn, things will look up :)

Oct 22, 2020 · The Chaos Helot Cult starting weapon list is pretty narrow, and that kit will get you almost everything interesting from it: grenade launcher, demo charge, heavy stubber, and flamer. You can have a single Psyker (a witch) but they need some houseruling to be worth the credits (unless you just give them Fixer and let them generate credits for you).

Jan 25, 2023 · I would drop the Ogryn and add more bodies. You should always be looking to outnumber your opponent as a helot gang. Remember, you are basically chaos cawdor (but cooler obviously). That said, I love the flavor of the big fella. Like you said, it’s not a usual tactic. Second, chaos helots have sneaky awesome leader and champs.
