Is 20w adapter enough to charge and operate M1 MacBook Air?
2020年11月20日 · So today I forgot my M1 MBA charge brick at home, but had a cable and a HomePod mini at my office. Turns out HomePod’s 20W brick is capable to charge M1 MacBook Air from 20% to 100% in around 4 hours, even when using it for work with a 4k monitor. Hopefully it won’t hurt my laptop battery. Probably the opposite.

2020年12月16日 · Yes, it supports 4K@60Hz with HDR with the official Apple adapter. 4K60 only requires DisplayPort 1.2, though. DisplayPort 1.4 is where you get 8K60 and all that. And... from my limited testing, I don't think the M1 MacBook Pro supports anything past 6K, so it technically does not support DisplayPort 1.4 right now.
