2003年11月11日 · Jimbo, I had a Vari-X II 3x9x40mm on a Browning A-Bolt until I replaced it with a Vari-X III 4.5x14x40mm. I used Leupold' s low rings to mount the 3x9 though. They placed the scope nice and close to the barrel which is what you should strive for. The medium rings will work also but the scope will sit higher off the barrel which is unneccessary.

2002年12月1日 · I have a Leupold VX 111 1.5 to 5 on a Win M. 70 7mm.08. I have a Leupold VX 111 2.5 to 8 on a Win M. 70 300 WSM. Bushnell is a bit brighter and Rainguard definitely works well. Bushnell has shorter eye relief and is bigger & heavier. Leupold has excellent eye relief and is compact & light. Leupold does not have anti fog or rain sheeting.
