Several public and private boat ramps are available. Shore fishing is good around some of the lodges and Lake Brownwood State Park. The state park also has a fishing pier. Several pay piers are available by the dam. Several bait shops and marinas are located around the lake. There are jet ski rentals but no fishing boat rentals.
