2020年5月21日 · There are a bunch of great frenetic indie arcade games. Thumper is an anxious fever dream that feels as if it comes from the same universe as Doom. Velocity 2X has level design so fine tuned that once you get good at it you feel as if you are cybernetic. Octahedron, a unique platformer, feels very similar in that regard.

2021年10月29日 · Dragon Age Inquisition came on PS3, kind of comparable to the witcher 3. Lots of fps on ps3, so maybe Doom Eternal too. Probably not with the stability and resolution you'd want, which a more "modern" switch can provide. I guess. e.g. Crysis 2 runs much better on switch vs PS3. Edit: Also, different devs, different ambitions, different engines.

2021年3月28日 · For core gameplay, I think the shooting in HL2 is unremarkable. There are probably 10-15 fps games released since that I think play better. Some of them a lot better. Obviously it no longer impresses technically except in its context of being from 2004. Titanfall 2 and Doom Eternal are both much much more fun to play than HL2 to me.
