I can't set different wallpaper on a dual monitor setup.
2023年12月19日 · Separate backgrounds for two monitors. I installed Win 11 and can't get the monitors to show different backgrounds. When I right click on the recent images in Personalize your Background I get "Set for desktop1 or 2". I do not get a choice for "Set for monitor 1 or 2".

Select all first and set your intervals and click shuffle. Deselect all your pictures by pressing Clear all. Set monitor 1 to any random picture.

2022年1月9日 · Whenever I go to Personalize -> Background -> Right Click a picture and "Set for Desktop 1", it sets the same wallpaper for both monitors. When I select "Set for Desktop 2, nothing happens. PLease help me with the issue.

2022年8月23日 · Have 2 monitors (TVs used as monitors). An Asus 1080p (monitor 2) and an LG 4K (monitor 1). The desktop background is different for each of these monitors. The "Multiple displays" setting is set to "Extend these displays". Because they are different resolutions the "Duplicate these displays" option does not work well.

2023年4月13日 · But I had the same problem as you, I could not set my backgrounds to what I want on 2 monitors. The problem was that I had 2 desktops running. To fix this press the windows key + tab and it will pop up with different desktops u have open, close the one you don't want.

While it did solve the problem of different photos being on the monitors, the application doesn't support displaying the photos in a sequential order, which is the second issue. It did technically solve the main one though, so I appreciate it a ton. After doing some digging however, I was able to find a replacement.

I have a nice desktop photo for my main PC monitor, but I want no background (i.e. black) on the TV (2nd) monitor, to avoid burn-in problems. I've tried all of the methods suggested in this forum, but every time I try to change the TV background, it changes both.
