They said they decided on the name Air Supply from the classical melodic meaning and the fact that they were both Gemini which is an air sign. Their first album went Gold in Australia and Rod Stewart asked them to tour with him in the US. They have had eight Top 5 hits in the US but only one Top 40 chart entry in the UK.
