Jan 14, 2018 · Personally I think the Pro Maxx is one of the, if not the best bang for the buck head on the market. We have Rockwell tested, weighed, checked machining, and flowed many sets. I have them on our flagship 532 making well over 800hp on pump gas. Very good quality casting. Very good part. I'll look into the Flow Tech. Sounds promising.

Jan 2, 2019 · Thoughts on a 532 bbc, I have some major components already just wondering if there’s any good examples out there. I have just about everything besides pistons, rods and camshaft. Currently have a dart big M, 4” crank, Steffs pan, Dart 355 heads, super victor, 2.25”/4”” header and a 9375 dominator.

Dec 30, 2015 · nope. 532" is 4.6bore/4 stroke. 540 is 4.5/4.25 555 is 4.56/4.25 in this instance, the smaller displacement is biggest bore. almost every aftermarket block will go to 4.625 bore at that power level with no problem.

Oct 6, 2023 · The 532 above has a port matched and plenum blended 2907 Victor 454R with a Dominator flange and a 1050 carb. The 565 posted has a 4150 flanged intake and I would bet smaller runners. It's not just the carb size, it's also the intake that's probably limiting the 565.

I wasn't happy so we had a little chat. He told me we needed more valve area in the head to achieve my goals. So try #2.

I did the plenum volume calcs for a 540 a long time ago using an engine design software that was available on line and if I recall, the 1" spacer on this intake was at the low ...
