A. Oct 21, 2019. #1. I'm so excited for the release of Planet Zoo that I decided to make a zoo map for my first franchise zoo. I've included every animal that has been confirmed so far according to the Planet Zoo Wiki Page Animals List. I've grouped most of the animals by continent, but some are grouped by biome or species.

2019年11月4日 · The original zoo tycoon games had a map you could use to see the animal exhibits, what animals they had, and a lot of on/off options for the icons, it would be cool if we could have a similar item in-game, like one we can place in the zoo for the guests to see where they are right now.

2021年10月5日 · Generate heightmaps from your landscapes: Go to https://cs.heightmap.skydark.pl/ and select your zoos map location, the blue square will contain your zoo map. Go to the settings (i in the top left) and tick the box with "draw grid". We need this to select the right location in the image manipulation program.

2019年6月21日 · When I'm happy with the layout of the map I start implementing the design into the game; creating the proper biomes, filling the habitats with desired animals and placing the buildings. Usually this involves tweaking the design a bit because of the path limitations in Zoo Tycoon 2 but I foresee this won't be an issue in Planet Zoo.

2021年9月16日 · Once finished, save your .tif file to Documents -> Frontier -> Planet Zoo -> UserHeightmaps. Launch Planet Zoo and go to create your new Sandbox, Challenge, or Franchise zoo as normal, selecting your biome/continent and set the terrain type to "Heightmap - YourFileName". Click create and your new map will load!

2024年5月5日 · The largest complete zoo I have built is my woodland park zoo recreation covering 75-80 percent of the map with various small and large habitats with a total of 56 habitats. Performance is pretty awful, with animals it is 12-20 fps, without any animals it's more manageable on pause with around 40.
