2007年10月5日 · Vortech makes a damn reliable blower, but their idler pulleys/mount suck, and in general, their brackets are rather cheap. Id skip the S trim all together and just get a T trim right off the batt. Paxton makes imho the highest quality product. The brackets are billet aluminum and 1/2" thick. The novi 2000 is also a beast of a blower.

2013年6月11日 · After multiple emails back and forth with Vortech tech support, I think I realized the problem. The 2A017-025 spacer is a Gen 2 part and has been discontinued 2A017-025 | Vortech Superchargers. I ordered the Gen 2 idler pulley that would work with the 2A017-025 spacer since those are the parts listed in the installation manual.

2008年8月13日 · In my case the Vortech was on the car at 28K miles and it started to have that signature Vortech bearing-type rattle really unusually bad at idle. I sent it to Vortech for inspection and rebuilding. It took bearings and an impeller. That was 30K miles ago and not an unusual rattle since. I bought the car with 20K miles on the clock.
Going from a T-trim to a Novi 2000, any difference in boost?
2012年6月26日 · With the exception of the NOVI 2000, all other current Paxton offerings have a Vortech counterpart. They are as follows: Vortech S and Si trim = Paxton 1200. Vortech SC and SCi = 1220. T-trim = 1500. JT-trim = 2200. Recently, Vortech introduced revised versions of the S and SC trims, they are the Si and SCi respectively.
