2019年5月14日 · Saw a number of different chip collection setups for a planer. Very simple for a DeWalt 735. You need (preferably) a 4 inch hose from the planer to an input connector on top of a box or, possibly, a nice sized trash barrel. What you do need is an exit for the pressurized air.

Upon plugging it in and turning it on, sparks came from inside I assume the motor and I shut it off. It will not turn back on. Any ideas what is going on. I am new to wood working these were my girlfriends grandfathers tools. Thanks for the help!

($781.00) Once I have a planer I will want it on some mobile stand. I am curious what others have done here. Home Depot has a Dewalt rolling stand ($239.00) I have never owned a thickness planer.

2014年7月8日 · The planer can handle thickness of up to 8", but it seems obvious an 8" wide board with a 3/4" thickness wouldn't work. I don't have the owners manual but its very similar to the standard Chinese planers like Jet, Powermatic, Shop Fox, Grizzly, and so on.

The cutterhead belt broke.I spent alot of hours on the internet and belt and bearing stores with know luck.I took the two pulleys off and took them along with a 3/8"v belt to a machine shop.They cut the old pulleys to fit the belt.The machine works like a new one,and i can use standard belts.

The planer is at one end of a 6-foot workbench. The DIY roller assemblies on YouTube are spaced inches apart. That seems overkill to me.

It would go in partway and get stuck, even whan shaving only 1/64" off a board. I brought it to a local dewalt place, they fixed it.
