2022年3月6日 · Very few normal enemies are left standing after that combo. It's probably the only weapon u can powerstance dual wield by just 2H it. Obviously like any collosal greatsword, u might get into a little trouble against fast attacking enemies but that's not really a Starscourge issue but a collosal greatsword in general weakness.

2022年3月6日 · 38/50/80 str. Once you get 38 str you can feasibly invest in other stats (like vigor) as the sword’s base damage will carry you through most of the mid game. However, you’ll eventually want to push 50 and eventually 80. Unlike other STR weapons, you can’t two-hand starscourge since you dual-wield it, so you’ll eventually want to push 80.

However, all three of these weapons want the barest minimum of int (no higher than 20), as they benefit ridiculously little from int compared to the gains they get from strength.

Greatsword - Can have the ash changed on it, needs standard stones. Personally I would go zweihander after playing with both of these 🤣, but I do like the Guts sword more than Starscourge.

When i go to level stats, int does not affect the weapons damage at all but dex will give a couple points if damage despite them both being a D for scaling. I think that int might only affect its L2 but ive not gotten around to testing that, it would be nice to know which stat boosted dps more.

2023年12月9日 · They have a few quirks that make them super viable. First off, you pay 20 units of weight for two colossal swords. Even if you were using Zweihander, the lightest colossal sword, that would still be 15.5 per sword, to say nothing of the big ones like the Guts Greatsword. Starscourges get you two colossals at the weight of one.
