2010年4月20日 · My 2 cents, 80lb crossbow pistol while really considered an adult toy. I wouldnt use it as my primary weapon of choice on a hunting trip. But scenario: camping for the weekend, car battery dead, cell phone dead, fish aint biting, need to eat, all you have is your cobra 80lb pistol bow in your trunk.

2008年12月5日 · I live in the UK, I have a cheap but reliable 150Ibs 220fps recurve crossbow that can shoot through a car door at 20yrds. 2 or 3 UK websites have them for £109.95. If you want more power you may have to spend £250-500. In my opinion pistol crossbow are a waste of time, they lack the power and accuracy for anything but shooting at dartboards.

2014年2月7日 · I have an old crossbow from the early 80s, with both 150 for hunting, and 75 pound for target, limbs. My issue with the crossbow from that experience is the short cast and limited range of the crossbow for hunting with the 150 pound limbs. Serving a string on my old crossbow is not a problem.

2009年8月16日 · You should be able to use a rifle rest/vise, to hold the crossbow (unlike a bow), and fire it with a string to the trigger like you would a rifle. IF the bolt snaps, it should not do major harm to the crossbow, and you would be away from it, safe. However, if you are holding it, the bolt, or parts of it, could find their way into parts of you.
