Hell even regardless of that Mahito's idle transfiguration targets the soul and those monstronsities that mahito creates stay that way because that is now the shape of their soul.

He could be waiting for Megumi to master Chimera Shadow Garden, much like how Kenjaku waited for Mahito mature before taking Idle Transfiguration. 2024年1月10日 · Megumi seems weak but honestly he is really strong for a sorcerer. Him being able to open a partial domain is better than 99% of other sorcerers. In jjk the gap between the top and bottom is massive, special grades are so far ahead of everyone else it’s ridiculous. Megumi’s technique is also kinda a stitch up in my opinion.
