Grief Seeds are the final forms of Soul Gems and also give birth to Witches. If a used Grief Seed is not consumed by Kyubey, the same Witch will be born again. As revealed in Magia Record, a Witch's powers can be boosted if she consumes a Grief Seed.

2022年2月16日 · I wonder if a grief seed is totally used even if your soul gem is only a bit cloudy (I believe they don't, since they can be used multiple time). If yes, I'll probably keep them and risk to have Doppel syndrome. If not, I would use them for every bit of darkness in my soul gem, since it seems that it can't be cleared by any other way.
