Leica GS18 T GNSS RTK Rover
It is the original truly tilt compensating GNSS solution that is immune to magnetic disturbances and is calibration-free. The sensor fusion of GNSS and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) creates the original true tilt compensating GNSS smart antenna. For GS18, T means tilt.
Use high spec CF cards for good read/write speeds. The Co-ax cable from the antenna (dog-leg connector) plugs into ‘ANT’. The 5 pin power cable from the battery plugs into ‘PWR’. The 5 pin cable from the aerial box plugs into ‘P1”. Note that you should position the “Leica” symbol on the Antenna towards the same direction e.g. South each survey.
