If your application requires ICC-ES approval for HIT-RE 500 V3 with a 1-1/4” threaded rod, ESR-3814 publishes a 1-3/8” hole diameter requirement. However, Hilti has published extended testing for HIT-RE 500 V3 with large annular gaps. The technical bulletin lists a maximum nominal core bit diameter of 1-7/8” for a 1-1/4” threaded rod.

The storage and transportation temperature requirements for HIT-RE 500 V3 are 41 - 77 °F. If the adhesive anchor has not fully cured by the time the concrete is poured, Hilti does not have any testing related to the cure time of HIT-RE 500 V3 when it is covered with concrete. The cure times for HIT-RE 500 V3 can be found on page 14 of the Instructions for Use.
