Formula V pilot requirements
Each pilot must have at least 500 total hours in any aircraft, at least 10 in the specific raceplane to be raced, and pass a New Race Pilots Test administered by Formula V. This test evaluates mental attitude, flight skills, basic aerobatics, race course flight and emergency procedures.
