You could search the on-line catalog from home, or wherever you had access, then go to a local store to have them order it. You could also request to look at the catalog at the store for general info then place an order when ready.

(usually a good idea for collectible/older firearms) doesn't do anything for the value, whereas "condition" does. I had one that I bought new in the early 1980's. IIRC, they were only available for a few years..

Will order in a bottle with next order and give it a try, have a Krag barrel that needs a front sight then reblued. Should be a good tryout for it. If I can find something that works within reason and is a lot safer than those hot tanks will get rid of the whole setup.
