2017年1月31日 · I'm not fond of the ceramic pickups in the MIM Standard Stratocaster, but they sound pretty good for what they are. For the vintage tone I prefer, the Fender Original '57/'62 pickups are just about perfect... except for the hum.

2011年1月7日 · MIMs had alnico through 2005 (except the Squier Series), and after 2005 the MIMs have ceramic. The Fender website used to incorrectly say alinico for the MIM standards, and may still be wrong.

2010 Fender MIM Standard SSS Strat; what were the original pickups?
2022年7月4日 · The stock pickups are Fender ceramic single-coils. They have a strong bass response with a round P90-esque medium tone. People tend to value Alnicos more because lower output with glassier highs is more typical of a strat tone... but those ceramics are no cheapos, they are very well designed and built !
Have MIM Standard Strats changed over the years?
2015年10月16日 · They were fairly high output with a lot of midrange punch and not much chime. The 2013 pickups seemed to be made closer to standard specs with magnetized poll pieces. The standard pickup has remained the same for 20 years: plastic bobbin, same as the USA Standard, with steel polepieces and two ceramic bar magnets.
