I finally found a way to repair the Sanctuary houses to my liking
2021年8月4日 · What I did was get rid of the original houses and replace them with the ones from "Easy Homebuilder and Working Double Beds". It has pre-war variants of all the post-war houses. However, the houses from that mod are totally clean and brand new, which I didn't want, so I used CreationKit to make them have the post-war textures.

I think it would be cool if Bethesda released an update to the game where you could assign people in certain settlements to repair any broken down houses that are in those settlements (and also do necessary work on the land around said buildings, so a repaired house wouldn't be sitting over a huge hole in the ground).

There are a few mods to fix up the house you start in when the game begins, but that's about all I know. You can check them out at Nexus Fallout 4 Site. There is the sanctuary player home restored and project modern house which is good with pre war textures. There is also another one that adds non broken wasteland houses.
