2003年7月14日 · I agree. For those of you who aren't familiar with these acronyms, FOH equals Front-of-the-House, which means primarily waiters and others who work in the dining room. BOH is Back-of-the-House, primarily those in the kitchen. They often hate each other.

2017年11月30日 · I bus my tables, reset, make the cocktails, the whole shebang. When I first started, the other server told me to tip 2% of sales to the BOH. I'm embarrassed to admit that I thought he meant 2% to both the cook and the busser. I myself always tip about 20% of my tips and have split that among the two of them.

We had a server who was also a manager at times, and loved to talk up the BOH to get rich dinners for free every shift he worked. They usually ran along the lines of wagyu, risotto, some type of roulade, basically something featuring the best we had that day.
