How to find us - Corinium Museum
Follow the brown signs for Corinium Museum to the Old Station Car Park , which is about a 2 minute walk from the Museum. Once parked please follow the pedestrian signs. On the weekends free parking is available at St James Place Headquarters on Old Tetbury Road , which is a three minute walk from the Museum.

Faces of the Past in the Tetbury Coin Hoard - Corinium Museum
2024年10月2日 · A few frantic emails later, I had flights and trains booked to bring me to Cirencester and allow me to step into the world of museum curation. On my first day, I was presented with the objects that would consume my next weeks: the Tetbury Coin hoard, a collection of nearly 1,500 coins from the late third century that had been discovered in 2012.
Secrets of the Stores: Hazelnut shells - Corinium Museum
2024年11月6日 · I’m often asked what my favourite object is in the museum. My answer is a small collection of fragments of burnt hazelnut shell. They were found in a hearth beneath (and so predating) the Neolithic Hazleton Long Barrow.
