After more research and finding that this is a very common problem with not only the 6.0L, but all 3rd gen LS based engines in trucks. 2014年4月4日 · Done this hundreds of times for customers over the years. Cast iron has a high melting temp. Use that. If you had the 250 exhaust manifold in my shop I'd drill & blow those broken bolts out with a torch in no time. And if the holes are blind I'd drill small holes in the side of the manifold for the molten metal to escape.

2017年1月24日 · On a Small Block Chevy 350, the manifold bolts are 1.25" long (at least on mine - mine has an Edelbrock 2101 Performer manifold so not stock) - But that bolt in your photo looks a lot longer than 1.25" Unless it is one of the thermostat housing bolts (that is also on the manifold; but isn't a manifold bolt per se).

2015年4月10日 · I just replaced my right side exhaust manifold on my truck. Purchased the manifold from AutoZone's website. Went into my local az store and picked up a set of fel-pro manifold gaskets and in the "help" section, I found a package of manifold mounting bolts for a small block chevy. Everything fit great except I had to reuse 2 old bolts.
