Apr 27, 2024 · Please send over any photos or videos or let me know where I can find media of the 2024 CFLRS Commondant`s Ruck March, it took place during the month of june. So far CFLRS`s multimedia school has not replied to my emails yet, appreciate all responses!

3 Feb 2024. #7. Last time I did the 2x10 proper I want to say was 1989 or 90 in 1CMBG - was FFO both days by our kit list. 6ft wall/trench jump on 1 day and IIRC fireman's carry 100m both days. They went to the 13 Km ruck march in '91 IRC, but added the 16km (10 miler) in FFO was done the next day with the wall and trench.

15 Jul 2005. #8. If I remember correctly the across the board Army 2 x 10 mile was considered the Gen Watters Battle Fitness Competition. Day 1 - 10 miles with Full Marching Order (rucksack, webbing, rifle) - time 2h46m. Day 2 (within 24 hours of start of day 1 march) - Fighting Order (FMO less rucksack) - time 2h24m.

I should hope the Seaforths still sing Glenwhorple, which is a traditional song for Highland regiments, and used extensively on the march, AFAIK, during WW II.

Jul 27, 2008 · But the point of carrying a weapon is not necessarily geared around 'how you do it on a BFT/13km march at CFLRS'. (The last BFT I did Oct 2006, I did it with no sling, wpn in the ready position, by choice. It irked me to see people strapping it to their ruck saying "Its not like I am gonna have to use it today". All training is for war.

how can you get rid of blisters... fast? - Army.ca
Apr 19, 2004 · It can do some good if applied directly onto the blister but we found that if squirted directly into the blister it worked fastest but with most discomfort in the short term. Perhaps 15-30 minutes then the pain goes away. By the next morning you‘re good to go. Get a buddy to do it for you cause you‘ll lose your nerve by the second blister.
