Let me get this - I'll use the analogy by the sire of our ADHD brains, Henry Rollins. He likened music listening to "carbohydrate" and "protein" - protein was the stuff you'd listen to that was new, challenging, and he says he listens to that during the week so he can experience new music. He listens to that music in a different way - actively.
