BatDR doesn't show when the Ink Demon is coming if you're in a hiding spot, so it's difficult to tell if it's safe unless you leave it. On top of that, getting consumed pretty much says "NO FAK U" when you die and gives you a proper game over screen, meaning that you need to save often.
