A lot of bologna is simply mortadella that’s being called by the wrong name. At most, the true difference just comes down to how the fat is ground in. Sure, there’s some bad bologna out there, but if you like mortadella you should also like good bologna

2021年6月3日 · Well, if it helps you feel better, good mortadella is noticeably better than a typical bologna from the deli. Much silkier texture and more flavorful whereas bologna is... ok. Still worth trying if you haven’t yet. American bologna is like mortadella’s lowbrow cousin who “knows a guy” that can get deals on car stereos.

Second day because who wants to fuck with the grand opening gawker hordes. The deli counter was manned by some slack jawed local, probably from Bellefonte or something. I delighted ordered 1/3 pound of mortadella.
