2008年6月17日 · I have similar pain in pad of right foot, just to right of big toe (behind second toe), and numb toes at times. No inflamation obvious, just sore when walked on, as the foot bends and weight is put on the "ball" of the foot. Ouch! Walk a lot in job; 8 hrs on feet. Went to Dr. with a previous pain, 8 mo.s ago.

2008年6月17日 · I have fat pad atrophy in my left foot due to a couple of Kenalog (steroid) injections. I was unaware at that time when the injections were given that they could cause fat pad atrophy. The Kenalog also caused muscle atrophy in my foot; the manufacturer has admitted that Kenalog can atrophy muscle tissue.

He stated that the metatarsal problem was due to lack of fat pad, with the crawling toes the fat pad was more behind the toes than under the metatarsals. He performed a 'gridlestone Taylor tendon transfer', on the 2nd to 5th toes.
