2022年2月23日 · Like a pipe cutter, it is easy to get a square cut. There's one wheel for 1/2" and 3/4" EMT, and one for 1", the second wheel stores in the butt of the handle. I like it quite a bit better for 3/4" and 1/2" than 1". Not all EMT is created equal, the thickness of the metal varies. If the EMT is heavy, it doesn't score enough to break easily.

2011年1月26日 · I tried the Greenlee cutter and found that it was more apt to leave a ridge inside the emt. I use a regular tubing cutter. Just like S'mise said-score part way through and snap it. If you don't go to deep there is a rounded edge inside, no burr, and it is nice and square. Also, a tubing cutter fits in my tool pouch much better than a hacksaw.
