Instead, the IMAP account immediately tries to log in to a Yahoo account (I have a Yahoo account and an AOL account - the AOL account was originally a Verizon account converted back in 2015 but retaining the @verizon.net structure).

The Outlook setup does not provide a place to enter the password I set up on the AOL site.
