My jeep has 500 miles on it and I just wanted to verify with all you guys that my concern is just a normal Jeep feel. 2nd gear appears tough to get in, but no grinding.

I don't have all the technical specs others on here might, but I will give you my impressions based on my experience. 6th is an overdrive, its not very useful for accelerating unless you around 75, and then in 5th you will be pretty high on the RPM

The transmission will sometimes seem to go into gear, but then pops out. It grinds, shifts rough, and generally seems to be pretty junky.
