15 Oct 2019 #6. I suspect that you have a hardware problem on the HDD. My suggestion: - Put the SSD in the caddy and see if it works normally. If it does, the problem isn't the caddy but the HDD. - Put the HDD on the original slot. Boot from the SSD (on the caddy) and perform a complete disk test. Seagate tools.
