Maine's ATV season is off to a bad start. It was supposed to begin earlier this month, but several trails will not be open this holiday weekend due to some of the storm damage we saw this past winter.

ATV riders in Maine may have to wait a bit longer before hitting the trails. According to the Bangor Daily News, more funding is needed to clean up trails impacted by severe storms over the winter.

The nearly $85,000 announced on November 21 is in addition to the $130,000 in grants announced by Polaris in April. And, as ...
