Lidl has brought back its panettone which outsold all others on the market in 2022 according to data – with five flying off Lidl shelves every minute from October to December last year.

Scoring slightly higher than this was Lidl's Deluxe Panettone Classico. The majority felt fruit levels were good, but two-thirds deemed it bland while more than half said it lacked sweetness.
