General Motors Corp. issued a safety recall and a stop sale of about 5,000 heavy-duty 2010 GMC Savana and Chevrolet Express passenger and cargo vans, according to a statement released this weekend.
That's because there are barely any more fullsize vans on the market with gross vehicle weight rating of less than 8,500 pounds, the threshold that separates light- and heavy-duty vans.
