Traffic from the southbound lanes of I-680 on the approach to the Benicia Bridge was being diverted due to an active fire, the Benicia Police Department is advising. All lanes have since reopened.

Mutual aid was provided by fire departments in Benicia, Crockett, Napa, Fairfiled, and American Canyon. No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to one single structure, officials said.
