The Christmas Market is huge. It had a nice display of crafts and food. I was able to walk from my hotel (over a mile), without any issues. It was very safe. Definitely worth the trip! Antoinette D的完整评论

Please help! We are thinking to use Bamberg as a base to visit Nuremberg. Also, from Bamberg, we will be staying a night in rothenburg. My question is, is it really hard to find parking in Nuremberg Christmas market? I wanted to drive because we have our 11month old son is with us. I'm afraid to take the bus and train at night with our son going back to Bamberg. Tia!

I'd suggest taking the train instead of driving. Parking can be hard to find near the Market. There are several per day and the Market extends to across the street from the Station. The walk to the center of the fest is less than 10 minutes so no taxi is needed. The non-stop trains (14? per day) only take a little over 30 minutes and are quite safe.
