Family friendly easy walk, plenty of steps down to go to the lower part of the waterfall but an option to stay up the top and see the waterfall with only a few steps Kayleigh R的完整评论

We hiked to the falls - there are a lot of steps. there are both Upper and lower lookouts, both of which we went to. The weather was nice for a hike. rochelleforster的完整评论

All falls? I don't know, I didn't visit all of the falls. Erskine Falls should be ok, and She-Oak Falls (on the GOR towards Apollo Bay), as long as it's not too busy (the car park is smaller). Hopetoun Falls, which is well within range of Lorne, is likely to be more of a problem. The car park is small and the road is narrow. I wouldn't want to try that in an RV during peak times or weekends. Beauchamp Falls I would assume is similarly difficult but I didn't go there, I just drove past, as it was closed. Same for Triplet Falls, I don't know but I wouldn't be confident.
I'm 15weeks pregnant can i walk the stairs? Is it difficult?

It is a lot of steps and most people stop on the way up to rest. If you look at the base of the falls from the top viewpoint, then look at the steps and imagine they go all the way down there you will have a sense of whether or not you want to try it. There are no bathrooms anywhere near, and if it has been raining the steps will be slippery. Be careful
Is there phone reception? I’m thinking of catching a taxi to see the site but wouldn’t know how to get back if I can’t call for a taxi? Alternatively is there any better forms of transport? Thanks!
答:
No reception. You need s car to get there. Not sure if there are day trip buses that may go there. Lorne info centre could help you.
