Yes this no problem. Once you are in the main area of town the castle is easily accessible. Look out for Castle or Police station which has access. It is pretty flat once in the grounds.
Hi all, Besides visiting the castle, museum and grounds, are there any interesting places within walking distance that I can cover within a day trip (10am-5pm)? That I know of, there are Mother Shipton's Cave and The Petrifying Well nearby, I guess it's doable in a day trip to all these places - Knaresborough Castle, Museum, Grounds, Mother Shipton's Cave & Petrying Well? You can fill the day in Knaresborough easily, even if you do miss out the caves. Although we fit everything in it was a long day, and not a lot of rest time. Personally an overnight …
