We actually went Memorial Day weekend. It was a Saturday and we arrived late morning. Both parking lots were full. People were parking across the busy HWY. So we did as well. Just be very careful… where2nextbabe的完整评论

I realize that this is an older question, but this may answer others wondering..Logan, Utah has some of deepest snow in the state in the winter and by February, it’s super icily frozen over. If it is technically open, I wouldn’t think it would be particularly pleasant or safe. If you are into that level of adventure, you can find out for sure by contacting the forest service: I can’t post the link on here but just look up USDA forest service, Wind Caves Logan. That link has a map.of the trail as well as the phone number of the Utah forest service.

The slop of the cave would make sleep inside a little tricky. Honestly you won’t want to spend the night, the sheer traffic wouldn’t allow for any privacy. For an easy over night camp try Tony’s grove, or there are ‘ice caves’ in or near grace Idaho. The ice caves are a whole on the ground in the middle of nowhere and go about .20 of a miles Back. Or try left hand in hyrum.

Hi, steelergirl87. What would you like to know about this attraction? Not being much of a hiker, is it possible to go part way on the trail and still have some nice views?
答:
Great canyon views all along the trail. Since its an out and back, you can stop anywhere along the trail and just return to the trail head without going to the caves.
问:
How do I get there?
答:
The "All Trails" App on iphone and android has the trailhead and trail mapped and pinned. I recommend using (free) if you want to know specifics about the trail and route.
