Hi Michael, Most folks tip as they would for any service based industry, such as a restaurant. Your fishing crew will arrive well before you do to make sure your rod and reel is clean, out and ready to go. They'll stock the vessel and ensure that everything is taken care of so that you can just step onboard and head out, comfortably. Then, of course, they'll be there long after you leave. Fish cleaning is a separate operation and option that our crew provides after the trip. We recommend you compensate them appropriately, if you choose. That amount would change if it were one fish, or 50 fish. Thank you for asking about both of these.
They are very careful to only keep the fish for you that meet the guidelines. Then they cleaned and cut ours into filets that were easy to cook and very tasty!

Yes, they provide license and all equipment except a line to take your fish home and they are only $2. We were extremely happy with the fishing trip and would recommend it highly. We fish all over the world and found this to be the least expensive for ocean fishing that we have experienced. It was 11.5 hours and we went out to the gulf stream for Red Snapper, Trigger, Tuna and sea bass. Grouper was out of season. The crew was also awesome at cleaning your fish at the end and only ask for a tip for doing so. Every one on the boat (12) caught a bushel of fish and were very pleased. There were 3 young boys aboard and the crew made sure they had a blast! We didn't wear life jackets and felt very safe. People who complain about on board washrooms are not used to day long fishing trips. The crew asked anyone who felt the washrooms were not up to par to let them know and they would immediately clean them. I would highly recommend this fishing trip to anyone.

Also, there is a safety presentation given to all boat members. My son is nine years old and the railing came up to his shoulders. He is of average height. Safety was definitely a priority for them.
