Hi Claire, The Gosport ferry is probably the easiest, it departs from Portsmouth Harbour train station and is about a 10 minute walk from the Submarine Museum on the Gosport side. If you would rather drive round there is free parking available on site, and it is about a 45 minute drive from Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Best wishes, Visitor Experience Team
