Rode a portion of the rail trail from Airport Rd in Whitefield to Route 115A, with 2 kids (7&8). Stopped at Cherry Pond viewing area for snacks, also many observation sites for nature viewing. Beauti… cassandrawG3681LN的完整评论

We did 16 miles- and the first 5 were the best. We thought it would have more views- but it was a good rail trail. Very pretty forest views- not crowded at all. joaniec875的完整评论

It is not a paved trail, it is hard pack. My husband does not have trail tires on his old Raleigh and he did just fine.
