Pink beach is on Komodo, you just wont take the tour to see the dragons and by not going to the ranger station and taking the tour you'll save the Park fee (250,000 Rupiah = $18.26USD).

It's definitely nice for snorkeling around the island though. Depending on your budget, there are many tour companies in LBJ which can sell you a day trip. Either with 20 other people if you have a small budget, or you can also rent a private speedboat with a guide for the day if you're willing to treat yourself. We did that, it cost 370 USD a day, but it was totally worth it, as we were able to get really fast to Rinca to see the dragons (no need to go to Komodo itself btw which is further), go to Kanawa for snorkeling, and spend the afternoon being driven around the little islands.
